The Gift Barn was established in 1996 and is based at
215 Rosedale Road, Albany, New Zealand.
Today we
have thousands of satisfied customers both in New Zealand and worldwide,
who use our service to send presents to family, friends, clients and

The original Gift Barn was, as the name
suggests, located in a barn at Karaka, near Auckland.
It quickly grew, from it's humble
beginnings, to become one of New
Zealand's largest, and most reputable gift basket businesses. Today the
Gift Barn is located in our modern 530 square metre premises at and
employs a permanent staff of 7 to service the many orders it receives
every day. During the "Christmas rush" this number is swelled to
35 with a team of Christmas Casuals, many of whom come back every year
to help with this busy time.
The Gift Barn was among the very first New Zealand companies
to pioneer the internet as a means of bringing fast, reliable, no hassle

The
driving force behind the Gift Barn is Graeme Byers who has owned the
business since 2003.
His approach to service is the main factor in the rapid growth of the
Gift Barn. His believe is that gift giving is all about impressing the
recipient. When a person receives a gift they should first admire the
beautiful, professional gift wrapping, then be moved by the sentiments
expressed on the accompanying hand scribed message card. Finally the
gift itself should be packed and presented in such a way as to truly
impress the recipient and to leave them with the impression that they
are indeed special in the eyes of the gift giver. to accomplish this
Graeme personally trains and instructs all his staff in the art of gift
packaging and presentation.
Since purchasing the Gift Barn, Graeme has spent an incredible amount of
time and energy putting systems in place to ensure that the whole
